Mornin'...if you are asking for a good 'local' marine engine source, I would recommend Crosstown Motors in Toronto.
They build excellent marine and domestic automotive engines.
Pricing is about $3900 for a complete long block...additional core charge, refunded when they receive your old engine.
Of course this solves sourcing an engine, but not your R&R in your vessel by a 'local' marine mechanic.
