F26 engine seacock

Just bought a 1979 Trojan F26 to prepare for great lakes cruising. The boat is now hauled for the winter and I am adding a Tee just past the engine raw water intake so it can be winterized by adding antifreeze through the Tee. Obviously it would require the seacock to be closed when supplying antifreeze through the upward hose. Here's my question. I have never quite seen a seacock valve as this before. On one side there is what appears to be a gate valve with a tee handle, as seen in the pic. But on the back side there "appears" to be a ball valve. At least there is a stem with what with looks like a hole to insert a handle, (no handle in sight). I stuck a screw driver in to see if it budges with no luck. Didn't force it as I wasn't sure what it was. Just looking to confirm how this valve closes both for future winterization and for plain old safety at sea if ever needed. Thanks in advance.
