Well you guys that are north, looks like another winter is upon us. Its seems just like yesterday I was reading all the post of the guys saying there getting your boats back in the water for the summer. I thought this might be a good time to start discussing winterizing and options for the winter. Lucky for us in Florida we will not have to worry about this. And we can go out on our boats all year long....

Mine comes out Tuesday and a very sad time of the year for us guys up north. I usually start a countdown with things to do for next spring.
I took the counter top out and am going to make the new one over the winter. I also removed several pieces of trim at the helm station and the cabin door for refinishing over the winter. At least having some boat projects keeps me somewhat satisfied while she is on the hard and under wraps.
Puttin' her up !

Please don't rub it in Rodman, my Clean Machine is already on stands, but thats what I get for livin' in the North East! I have fresh water cooled 318's so I will be winterizing her by suckin' up some Propylene glycol ( RV antifreeze) through the raw water side. I do have 1 question? I heard that the -50 stuff does not have 'rust inhibitors' I've been told I don't need it because it's only goin' through the heat exchanger and the risors. Should I be concerned about that?
