oil leak

I have a 1976 Chrysler 318 in a F26. I am noticing small amounts of oil on the bottom of the starter. Not a huge amount but enough to cover one digit of my index finger. I thought it was running down from the valve cover bolt that had a slow leak. I have solved that problem and am still having issues. It is a reverse rotation engine. The starter sits on the right hand side of the engine if you are standing over the velvet drive.

My fear is that I have a slow leak in my rear seal but am looking for other thoughts on where to look.

Thanks,

John

Check the oil cooler lines back there also if you have one mounted in rear, oli sender/pressure switch, main gallery plugs at rear of block, rocker covers, etc. Don't just look directly above, oil has a way of following lines, wires, etc. Is there oil at the very bottom of the bell housing? Is your oil level to spec?

Thanks for the advice. It was leaking from the connections on the safety switch for the fuel pump.
