He may or may not have the reverse cycle air / heat system , they came both ways it was up to what the dealer ordered

If it proves to be relevant, my unit is actually an SH12 (12,000 BTU), and I have a copy (pdf) of the 'operations' manual that depicts the 3 rotary controls being talked about (top : mode [off/fan/run], middle : fan speed, bottom : thermostat [wamer/cooler]), from Sept 2000.

The controls will say that wether they are for a heat/a/c unit or just a A/C unit I have both on my boat .
