Yup. +1000. Get that camera going Paul.DOUGNASH wrote:but we need a lot more pics!
I could use one of these to help get my 80 year old dad on and off easier. He sometimes has trouble when the dock where we end up is much lower than the one here at the house. On and off at the platform would be a big difference for him in a lot of places.

Here are some of my door. It was done by a PO. The cover is off and I will try to get some close-ups for any one brave enough to attempt this project.

I noticed the inner liner seems a little different . But its its 10 years newer so thats most likely the reason . I will try and get some good photos of mine . Its 90% done Door and top open close just some slight tweaking and fish work needed . But its 100% usable now

I noticed that too. I have never been on one as new as 1988 though. I bet there are a bunch of things that got changed over the years. I'd be curious to see.prowlersfish wrote:I noticed the inner liner seems a little different .

Still got a way to go . But the door is now usable as is the boat .The temps have been hanging around 60 deg and chances of rain . Not the best conditions for epoxy work . these where taken sat. got more done on Sunday .

Looks real nice, just like it came that way--- as for the holes ,my guess would be the aft line guides-- what did you fasten the cleats to ,I like that idea--- one other ? Where can I get a set of those two rung steps that can be seen in the background , are they original trojan?--- Mike

Re: A small project or what have I gotten into
Your correct the hawse pipes are new , the cleats are exactly in the same place as they came , the OEM hawse pipes came in from the top and where smaller . I went larger so I could run the shore power through them also .
The steps are OEM Trojan
And thank you

Looks Great.
RWS, when I bought my boat, the PO gave me an article on adding a transom door to the 10 meters. It should be with the old paperwork if I can find it. I'm still considering doing it

Like the door, and love the new Hawse pipes. Nice job!
