1954 Ski bee

Post by Pedub »

Good Evening
I have recently bought a 1954 Ski Bee the boat seems solid but lots of work to refinish it, lots of bad wiring and other small stuff. I have removed the motor and hope to rebuild it over the winter. The compression is all over the map. Are there any original marine parts available out there, IE gasket sets , hoses, internal parts . Also I have never seen a transmission like this before. I am used to velvet or paragon. I have rebuilt several chriss craft boats but this motor and transmission set up is new to me. Any information would be greatly appreciated. The transmission seems to get its oil from the motor?? seems odd but I know.
Any Manuals available?
Thanks for any help
