Constantly running something from forward head/shower
1985 Trojan 10M Sedan - proud new owner
Problem: The forward shower "bay" won't empty. There is this constant small motor sound come from just forward of the starboard engine bulkhead. What I presume is the pump for shower bay has been constantly running, though no water is exiting the shower bay.
I've attached two pics: one of the pump and one of I believe is a seethrough filter(?). The filter has an occassional air bubble coming from the hose connection - nothing substantial, but it's intermittently there.
I cut one of the wires to the pump to stop it from running: one, to stop it from running and not pumping anything (I checked the outside through hull and nothing was coming out; and two, wanted to see if that would impact the constant small motor sound. It stopepd running (obviously), but the other sound is continuing to run.
Also, I've attached the switch and light panel above the forward head. The switch's upper and lower contacts were connected, but not the middle contact, which I subsequently connected. Whether I flip the switch up or down, nothing changes, and the lights also stay lit.
Any suggestions on what is the constant motor sound and why the bay isn't emptying. Thank you.

I don't see your photos, Could the other noise be the shower fan? It should have a switch. Do you mean by shower bay, the bottom of the shower?
Both the shower drain and blower should have switches to turn them off. They are square push button switches.

As said above switches should turn off the pump. Unless someone changed to system to an automatic slump type. Try and port the photos and that will tell. The filter could plugged up or the pump could be bad.

Re: Constantly running something from forward head/shower
Moderator and Prowler, boy y'all respond quickly. Thank you for that.
First, pics.
Second: Moderator - the square white button...well, there is only one current square white button in the head, but it controls the light. In the pics which I just attached there is a rocker switch, that looks like it may have been a replacment for what may have been a square white button -- I can confrim that becuase that rocker switch sits in a square hole which would have fitted one of those square switches. Previously, it worked to pump out the shower basin, but now nothing happens whether its flipped one way or the other.
Third: Prowlersfish - here's the challenge, and this may apply to Moderator's response, as well. There is a pump which was running constantly, but nothing was exiting the shower basin. I cut the wire to shut it down. Even with that the other sound (pump?, fan?) keeps running.
OK, UPDATE (with two new pics):
That other sound is still constant. However, there is a new additional sound. Coming from the unit (which has the circular black base and the metal somewhat squarish top). When I turned off the Head switch it stopped. One line to this unit comes from a through hull on the bottom of the boat, the other line leads to the white tank behind it (is that the hotwater tank?).

Here are the pics again - I dragged them and then try the attachment process, but they don't seem to be appearing. OK, they were too large

Re: Constantly running something from forward head/shower
Top photo is just the breaker panel
Next is your switches sounds like one maybe bad
Next maybe the shower drain pump ( could be the fresh water pump? but likely the shower pump, I would have to be there to be 100% sure
Next is the filter
Lastly is the vacumun pump for the vacufluch head. Controlled by the breaker. It turns on as needed when the vacuum gets low, built in vac switch. Best to turn off the bearker when leaving the boat for any length of time. If this is running all the time you likely have a vac leak.

What Trojan 10 meter do you have? You did say sedan, but it seems like you may have an aft cabin?
